Commentary from Danny White:
1. No Cinderella (1981)
"This is a Bronze song written by myself and Warne Livesey (Peter Ross lyrics). Probably the best thing we did but no record deal. Andy Ross on guitar, Warne on bass, Jeff Rich on drums (went on to play with Status Quo for the next 20 years), Peter on percussion, Guy Barker on trumpet and Warne's dad Jim on sax."
2. The Night is still a Child (1981/2)
"A Ronnie Ross song with Peter Ross lyrics. Recorded for a Capital Radio session (Ian Lynn on piano)."
3. Scrapple from the Apple (1981/2)
"In between our 'serious' work Andy Ross and I would mess around on our Portastudio just for the fun of it.This is a Charlie Parker song (the words turning and grave spring to mind)."
4. 3am Blues (1982)
"Yes, this is me singing no, I dont think I have a good voice. Chris Sullivan from Blue Rondo gave me this lyric and asked me to write some music to it in a Sinatra stylie. I decided to demo it myself just for the hell of it. He didn't like much what I came up with he never did have any taste!"
5. Undercover (1985)
"The last thing we recorded as Matt Bianco before we split. Mark's lyric, Basia's and my music. Never got used. Peter Ross cleverly wrote a new lyric "Run for Cover" and you know the rest."
6. From Now on (demo) (8 MB .zip file)
(Started in 1982-finished 1985)
7. Time and Tide (demo) (1985) (8 .7 MB .zip file)
8. Peppercorn Blue (1986)
"After we split MB I was still signed to WEA so whilst we were demoing Basia's stuff I attempted a solo project White Lies. I recorded two songs before the record company dropped me.This is a co-write with Ronnie Ross recognise the solo?"
