The album is done.

Yes.

Danny says:

"We finally finished mixing on friday-13 songs, the 13th
having a Polish lyric (musically its somewhere between
"Come to heaven' and 'Rachel's wedding' if you can
imagine that!)

"When Basia was in Poland recently she recorded her
friends & family singing along which we included in
the song giving it a Polish singalong party vibe. The
song is a celebration of the arrival of her nephew's
newborn baby daughter.

"It's a nice feeling for the record to be finished-the
next thing is to master it and then work on the sleeve.
Release/record companywise we're still working on but
as soon as there's some definite news I'll let you
know."

My heart's all pitter patter, I don't know about you reading this right now.

Also, for those lucky ducks across the pond:

"Peter was over recently and I'll be playing with him
at the end of April."
Go see him please and better yet, cam the performance for those of us not so lucky!

Gosh am I the first one to read this? My hands are almost shaking over the news. At long last! And how coincidental that I am listening to TSI as I read the news... Everyone rejoice in the news!!!

WHOO - HOO from Texas!!!!!!! Danny and Basia - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for not making us wait so long for a new album!!!

Thanks again from your Basia fan in Texas and her "Basia-widow". We saw y'all in San Antonio, Texas back on the Matt Bianco Reunion Tour 2005, I was the one with the shirt you, Mark and Basia signed.

- Bev and Geffen Okin-Larkin

PS: My Basia-Widow (maybe we can call her a Basia Convert now!) wants to know when the tour is already!!!

We're ready for you guys to come over the pond again!!! Tour Texas!!!

They sure want to, last I heard. I'd like to think the US would be a given, we obviously love them here!

A lot of times a musician will want to visit locations but cannot due to reasons beyond their control (promoter issues, etc). I'm going to really keep my fingers crossed that they can come to my area, but I'm ready to travel if need be!

Oh, happy DAY!!! Basia needs to keep up recording, darnit. I saw them too on the 2005 tour in Houston, the first time being on TSI tour in 1994 in New Orleans. Come on back to Houston, gang, I can't wait!!!

This is probably the best news I've heard in a long, long time. Basia and Matt Bianco - together again. Does it get any better than that? Now if they will only tour in California close to where I live..... It was Cupertino last time, how about Sacramento this time???

FINALLY!!! I'll be the first in line. I, too hope there will be a tour. I'm from Salt Lake City and we went all the way to Seattle for the 2005 concert. It was fabulous! What a classy, gracious, amazing performer! Love you Basia! COME TO SALT LAKE!!!
